Interview with Marcel Zamora (5 times Ironman France winner, 5 times Embrunman winner, 2 times Ironman 70.3 Monaco winner).

Mallorca is one of the best places in the world. All you need is to take your bike to get out on the roads and enjoy the paradise and all the people who is here cycling. I think the great weather, the location in Europe gives to Mallorca an ideal place to practice the two wheels sport. The landscape for me is always important, because when you are so long cycling, at the end, being in a nice place or in the desert, it changes a lot and Mallorca has that variety. The Serra Tramuntana Mountains is sheerest and wild and the inland is more traditional, small roads with stone walls.
I think a great gym is there where the variety is, where there is not only fitness machines, but weights, running and bike machines. I like it especially when you are in a cozy place, with good lights, where you feel comfortable and feel like going on. It has been a pleasure to discover the Hoposa SportHotel Villaconcha, because I think it is a different project which link with staying in a hotel with these sport facilities, the garage, the swimming pool, the gym, etc. They are really working really hard and it is going great. It is an ideal place for this kind of hotel. So I predict a great future to it, because I think it is the kind of facilities that the athletes need.

Interview with Malte Bruns (24th place and best amateur at Ironman WCC Hawaii, broke the record time after more than 20 years).

For me the sport is just fun, being able to train every day and then going to races, see what I can do, what my body is capable of. That is just something, that really fascinates me. Mallorca is really great for cycling. There are so many different roads you can try and beautiful views to the sea and mountains. It is a lot of fun because there are so many different things you can try. All around just a great place.
It is just nice, if you got the chance after a long training ride, to maybe to go to the sauna, sweat of a little bit, because after that your legs and your whole body feels a lot better. This makes the training a lot easier. It is great to do the training camp in the Hoposa SportHotel Villaconcha, because everything is in one place. You can just get up in the morning put your swimming trunks on and being in the pool like in just 5 minutes. This is just a really great place for training.
